Our core values as a medical practice is to provide confidential, fast, flexible and simple medical services and what has allowed us to do that was to only accept self-pay. This has been our structure for the past few years which allowed us to grow and provide care without outside influences. We will continue to prioritize our self pay loyal members and these members will continue to get first dibs on appointment slots. 

However, we remain faithful to provide care to those that need us the most. So we promised ourselves when we are able to, we will start accepting insurance. We understand that not everyone can afford to pay out of pocket, so new for 2024, we worked hard to implement insurance pay. Since we don’t have (or want) a billing department, we have partnered with Headway as our insurance biller. We are currently credentialed with Cigna, Aetna, United Healthcare, Blue Cross Blue Shield of Massachusetts, Oscar Health, and Oxford. For out-of-network clients, I can provide a superbill (an insurance term for invoice) to assist you in seeking reimbursement from your insurance company; however, you will still be responsible for the self-pay bill. Please note that due to the nature of insurance billiing, insurance bookings may be delayed or rescheduled due to the bureaucracy required for verification. •For our loyal patients who have been with us from the start, please ask about opportunities for a special one-time discount and arrangements for grandfathered fee structures. Annual rate increases may apply.

•We will continue the trend of rewarding faithful clients by grandfathering fee structures. As in the previous phases (2019-2021 experimental phase, 2022-2023 start-up phase, 2023-2024 first intro year), the 2024-2025 and 2025-2026 periods will transition to the final pricing structure (initial evaluation $1,500; follow-ups $650). Once we reach this final phase, we will no longer accept new patients, which we expect to happen sooner than predicted.

Additional Discounts:

•We offer a $50 initial discount to honor veterans who protect and serve.

•There is an additional final $50 discount if you leave a Google review, as I want to recover the reviews earned while working with other groups. This discount can be applied at any time.

Telehealth alone provides significant convenience. Furthermore, I am not a generic Teladoc; I am highly qualified and credentialed with years of advanced training, ensuring accurate diagnosis and care.

– **Ethical practice:** This is not a pill mill or a corporate franchise with multiple locations. There are no 15-minute sessions, and patients are not treated by nurse practitioners without a fee reduction (which I consider unacceptable). Every aspect of the practice is carefully screened and approved by me, adhering to my guiding principles and ethics.

– **No non-compete clause:** If I ever have associates who choose to leave, there will be absolutely no non-compete clause. I believe that if a patient finds someone they truly trust and love, they should be allowed to follow their provider. This is best for the patient, and their well-being and treatment outcome is all I truly care about in the end (which is often considered unconventional in the traditional medical community).

To ensure the availability and accessibility of our services, we have implemented an industry standard no-show and late cancellation/rescheduling fee. A fee of $75 would be added for the first no show or late cancellation (within 24 hrs) and $150 for any other incidents after.

To enhance the quality and efficiency of our services, we require all patients to keep a card on file. Unlike the usual standard of paying prior to your service, your card will be charge at the time of service. This practice provides several benefits for both you and our practice:

Once your appointment is confirmed, anticipate receiving further details from our Evolve Behavioral Medicine team. When able, our hope is to offer a free clinic day for those underserved and forgotten veterans. 

Finally, for the final stage of our evolution, when able, we will open up an animal sanctuary. This is allow us to extend our services to the animal kingdom. We will also use this facility to provide work for the intellectually disabled and homeless veterans. The animals will also allow for use of animal therapy to those who seek it.
